Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
    3. NOTE: The fuel pump driver module (FPDM) is located above the spare tire.
  3. Disconnect the FPDM electrical connector.
  4. Remove the FPDM bolts and the FPDM.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
