In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Installation

  1. Install the flexplate and the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in the sequence shown.
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
    • Stage 2: Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

  2. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 4R70E/4R75E .
