PCM Reset Procedure

After a PCM reset procedure has been performed, the following events have occurred:

All DTCs will be cleared from PCM memory.
All freeze frame data will be cleared from PCM memory.
Oxygen sensor test data will be cleared from PCM memory.
OBD-II system monitor status will reset.

To perform PCM reset using scan tool, perform the following:

Turn ignition off.
Perform necessary vehicle preparation and visual inspections.
Turn ignition on.
Select vehicle and engine selection menu (optional).
Select year, engine, model and any additional information requested by scan tool.
Follow operating instructions from scan tool menu.
Select DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTIONS. Press CONT button if all OBD-II System Readiness Tests (SRT) are not complete.
Select CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC CODES.
Press START button on scan tool.
