Front Safety Belt Buckle - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Removal

NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.

    All seats 

  1. Remove the seat on the side with the affected safety belt buckle. For additional information, refer to SEATING .

    2. Driver seat 

  2. Remove the safety belt buckle usage detection switch electrical connector from the seat cushion pan.

    3. All seats 

    NOTE: Note the safety belt buckle usage detection switch wire harness routing for installation.
    NOTE: Note position of locator tab for installation.

  3. Remove the nut and the safety belt buckle.
