Removal and Installation

NOTE:
New retaining bolts (W710721) must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. Retaining studs and nuts can be reused.
- Remove the seat mounting retainer covers.
- Remove the rear seat.
- Remove and discard the mounting retaining bolts.
- Remove the mounting retaining nuts and remove the seat.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM

- Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
NOTE:
Removing the rear seat requires more than one technician.
NOTE:
When installing the seat, tighten the two new front mounting retaining bolts, then the rear two mounting retaining nuts.
