Removal and Installation

NOTE:
New retaining bolts (W710721) must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The retaining stud and nut can be reused.
- Remove and discard the rear seat load floor-to-floor retaining bolt.
- Remove the six load floor bolts and remove the load floor assembly.
- Remove and discard the left seat riser-to-floor retaining bolt.
- Remove and discard the two right seat riser-to-floor retaining bolts.
- Remove the right rear seat riser-to-floor retaining nut and bolt.
- Remove the left rear seat riser-to-floor retaining nut.
- Remove the 60/40 rear seat assembly.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
NOTE:
Removing the rear seat requires more than one technician.
