Removal and Installation

NOTE:
New retaining bolts (W710721) must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The retaining stud(s) and nut(s) can be reused.
NOTE:
Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
NOTE:
Power seat without heat control shown, power seat with heat control similar.
- Remove the front inboard retainer cover.
- Remove the rear inboard retainer cover.
- Move the seat to its forward most position.
- Remove the rear outboard retainer cover.
- Remove the front seat.
- Remove and discard the three front seat riser support-to-floor retaining bolts.
- Disconnect the safety belt buckle electrical connector (driver only).
- Disconnect the seat switch electrical connector.
- Remove the front seat riser support-to-floor pan retaining nut.
- Remove the front seat.
- Remove the front seat.
- Remove and discard the two front seat riser support-to-floor retaining bolts.
- Disconnect the safety belt buckle electrical connector (driver only).
- Remove the two rear seat riser support-to-floor pan retaining nuts.
- Remove the front seat.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
- Adjust the seat to the full forward and rearward positions a few times to assure safety belt and buckle accessibility.
- Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .

CAUTION:
When installing the seat, tighten the front mounting bolts, then the rear mounting bolt or nut(s).
