Inspection and Verification

NOTE: If any concerns are noted with the headlamps, address the concern(s) by referring to EXTERIOR LIGHTING before diagnosing the daytime running lamp system.
  1. Verify the customer concern by operating the daytime running lamps.
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage. Refer to the following chart:
    VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

    Electrical
    • Battery junction box (BJB) fuses:
      • 46 (10A)
      • 47 (10A)
    • Central junction box (CJB) fuse:
      • 13 (15A)
    • Circuitry
    • Daytime running lamp relays
    • Daytime running lamp resistor
  3. If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom. GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
