Evaporative Canister Purge Valve

Evaporative (EVAP) canister purge valve is controlled by PCM. EVAP canister purge valve controls EVAP canister purge. When EVAP purge is on, vacuum is supplied to EVAP canister and vapors in EVAP canister are purged. When EVAP purge valve is off, solenoid is released to prevent purging of fuel vapors from EVAP canister.
