Removal and Installation

- Remove the scuff plate.
- Remove the cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
- Pull the carpet or mat back to see the front body insulator plug button .
- Remove the button.
- Remove and discard the bolt.
- Remove the insulator.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
NOTE:
No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body insulator installation.
