Fuel System Pressure Release
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Ford Pickup and 2002 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING:
CNG bi-fuel system is always pressurized to 100 psi (7 kg/cm2
) downstream of fuel pressure regulator. CNG and LPG bi-fuel systems are kept up to 3000 psi (211 kg/cm2
) upstream of fuel pressure regulator. Use care when servicing CNG and LPG fuel systems.
CNG and LPG fuel pressure must be released prior to any fuel system service. To release CNG or LPG fuel pressure, see FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE in REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION - F150 PICKUP - BI-FUEL article. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
