  1. B1 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX (CJB) FUSE 46 (10A) AND CJB FUSE 47 (10A)
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Place the multifunction switch in the low beam position.
    • Place the headlamp switch in the ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between following fuses and ground:
      • CJB fuse 46 (10A)
      • CJB fuse 47 (10A)
    • Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
    • Yes  : GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
    • No  : TURN the headlamp switch off. GO to B2.
  2. B2 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE CJB
    • Disconnect: CJB C270g.
    • Place the headlamp switch in the ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between CJB C270g-4, circuit 13 (RD/BK), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
    • Yes  : INSTALL a new CJB. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No  : TURN the headlamp switch off. If equipped with daytime running lamps (DRL), GO to B3.

TURN the headlamp switch off. If not equipped with daytime running lamps (DRL), GO to  B5.

  3. B3 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE DRL FULL RELAY No.1
    • Disconnect: DRL Full Relay No.1.
    • Place the headlamp switch in the ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between DRL full relay No.1 pin 87a, circuit 1033 (RD/YE), harness side and ground.
