Removal and Installation

    Vehicles equipped with adjustable pedals 

  1. Disconnect the adjustable brake pedal drive cable.

    2. Vehicles with fixed pedals 

  2. Remove the stoplamp switch redundant self-locking clip and the self-locking clip.

  3. Slide the stoplamp switch and booster push rod from the brake pedal pin.

    4. All vehicles 

  4. Remove the 6 brake pedal and bracket retaining nuts.

  5. Position the brake booster assembly forward enough to allow the brake pedal bracket to clear the booster studs.
  6. Remove the brake pedal and bracket.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
