Power Steering Pump Pulley: Installation

    All vehicles 

    CAUTION: Replacement of the power steering pump pulley is necessary after being removed and installed 2 times.

  1. Using the special tool, install the power steering pump pulley.
  2. NOTE: Vehicle with air conditioning shown; vehicles without air conditioning similar.
  3. Rotate the tensioner and install the accessory drive belt on the power steering pump pulley.
    • For vehicles with air conditioning, rotate the tensioner clockwise.
    • For vehicles without air conditioning, rotate the tensioner counterclockwise.

  4. Vehicles with 6.0L engine 

  5. Install the engine cooling fan. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN -- 6.0L DIESEL .
