Removal & Installation

- Remove spark plug wires by slightly twisting while pulling upwards. Disconnect ignition coil harness connector. Remove 4 bolts and ignition coil.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply silicone dielectric compound to inside of spark plug wire boots. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
CAUTION:
DO NOT pull on spark plug wire as it may separate from spark plug wire connector inside spark plug wire boot.
NOTE:
Wipe coil towers with a clean cloth dampened with soap and water. Remove any soap film and dry with compressed air. Inspect for cracks, carbon tracking and dirt.
