Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove accelerator cover, if equipped. Disconnect Idle Air Control (IAC) valve connector. Remove bolts and IAC valve. Remove and discard IAC valve gasket. Always install a NEW IAC valve gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten IAC valve bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
