Removal & Installation (4.0L)

Remove air cleaner outlet tube. Remove upper radiator hose extension. Remove bolts, water outlet adapter and remove thermostat housing. Disconnect Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor connector. Remove ECT sensor. Inspect thermostat "O" ring and replace as necessary. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ECT sensor and thermostat housing bolts to specification.
