Removal & Installation (3.0L)

Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor is mounted on front of front cam cover. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect CMP sensor connector. Remove CMP sensor mounting bolt. Remove CMP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CMP sensor mounting bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
