Window Regulator: Removal

  1. Remove the front door window glass. For additional information, refer to WINDOW GLASS - FRONT DOOR .
  2. Remove the window regulator electric drive (23394) (if so equipped). For additional information, refer to MOTOR - WINDOW REGULATOR ELECTRIC DRIVE .
    3. NOTE: Use care not to enlarge the sheet metal holes in the door inner panel.

  3. Remove the center pins from the rivets, using a drift. Using a 1/4-inch diameter drill, drill out the rivets attaching the window regulator lower bracket to the inner panel.
  4. Remove the nuts retaining the window regulator upper bracket to the door inner panel.

  5. Remove the window regulator.
