Inspection and Verification

- Verify the customer concern by operating the power exterior rear view mirrors.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage. Refer to the following VISUAL INSPECTION CHART :VISUAL INSPECTION CHART
Mechanical Electrical - Damaged mirror(s)
- Fuse
- Damaged exterior mirror control switch
- Circuitry
- Exterior mirror control switch
- Verify components or systems related to the fuse for correct operation. If the components or systems are not operating correctly, the fuse(s), fuse feed circuits or fuse load side circuit(s) may be faulty.
