Removal and Installation

Remove the radiator grille opening panel reinforcement (8A284). For additional information, refer to GRILLE OPENING PANEL REINFORCEMENT .
Remove the screws at the lower edge of the front fender securing the splash shield.

With the front door open, remove the fender-to-cowl side brackets retaining bolts, and the bolt and shims securing the lower rear of the fender.

Remove the front fender-to-radiator support retaining screw and the front fender-to-front end stone deflector retaining screws.

Remove the front fender (16005).
- Remove the front fender-to-fender upper apron retaining screws.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
