Removal & Installation

Remove intake manifold. See appropriate INTAKE MANIFOLD procedure under FUEL SYSTEMS. Remove knock sensor from engine block valley. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten knock sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
