Intake Manifold (6.8L): Installation

However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

To install, reverse removal procedure. If lower intake manifold was removed, position lower intake manifold to upper intake manifold and loosely install 10 bolts. Tightening bolts in sequence. See Fig 2. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . If necessary, install the fuel injector supply manifold.
To install, position gaskets, thermostat, housing and intake manifold assembly. Tighten fasteners to specification. See Fig 3. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Fill and bleed the engine cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING under COOLING SYSTEM . Connect the battery ground cable.
