Turbocharger Inlet Y-Pipe: Removal

  1. Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Remove the LH turbocharger inlet Y-pipe bolts.

  3. Remove the RH turbocharger inlet Y-pipe bolts.

  4. NOTE: There is metal gasket between the exhaust inlet pipe and the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler.

  5. Remove the turbocharger inlet Y-pipe-to-EGR cooler clamp.
  6. Remove the turbocharger inlet clamp.

  7. Carefully remove the turbocharger inlet Y-pipe assembly from the vehicle.
