Removal and Installation

  1. Release the fuel system pressure. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
  2. Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  3. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  4. Disconnect the fuel injection pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector and vacuum hose.

  5. Remove the bolts and fuel injection pressure and temperature sensor.

  6. NOTE: Hand tighten both bolts before tightening to specification.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Apply clean engine oil to the sensor O-ring seal prior to installing the fuel injection pressure and temperature sensor.
