Pinpoint Test E: The Starter Spins But The Engine Does Not Crank

  1. E1 CHECK THE FLYWHEEL 
    • Remove the starter motor.
    • Inspect the flywheel and the drive pinion for damage or excessive wear.
    • Is the flywheel or the drive pinion worn or damaged? 
    • Yes  : INSTALL a new starter motor and flywheel. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No  : INSTALL a new starter.
