Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Remove the retainers and the air deflector.

  3. Remove the power steering reservoir bracket retainers.

  4. Remove the power steering fluid indicator and retainers. Remove the power steering mounting bracket. Install the power steering fluid indicator and position the power steering reservoir aside.

  5. Disconnect the coolant hoses from the air cleaner outlet pipe.

  6. NOTE: Air cleaner side shown, engine side similar.

  7. Loosen the clamps and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
  8. Disconnect the turbocharger intake tube breather hose.

  9. Loosen the clamp at the turbocharger.

  10. Remove the retaining nuts and position the heater hose bracket aside.

  11. Remove the stud bolts and the turbocharger intake tube.

  12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
