Removal & Installation (1998 Models)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect positive battery cable. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Remove upper and lower steering column shrouds. See Figure .
  2. Disconnect electrical connectors from switch. Remove multifunction switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
