Crankshaft Front Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the crankshaft vibration damper. For additional information, refer to CRANKSHAFT PULLEY .
  2. Punch two holes in the seal.

  3. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft seal.

    4. NOTE: Production engine will not have a wear sleeve.

  4. If equipped, using the special tool, remove the crankshaft damper wear sleeve.
