Crankshaft Front Seal: Installation

  1. Thoroughly clean the crankshaft front seal mounting surface.
  2. Apply High Strength Threadlocker to the outer circumference of the leading edge of the crankshaft.
    3. NOTE: New seal and wear sleeve must not be separated.

  3. Using the special tool, install the oil seal and wear sleeve assembly.
  4. Install the crankshaft damper. For additional information, refer to CRANKSHAFT PULLEY .
