Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Remove the oil pan. For additional information, refer to OIL PAN  in this section.
  2. Remove the crankshaft sprocket. For additional information, refer to TIMING DRIVE COMPONENTS - WINDSOR ENGINE (5.4L)  or TIMING DRIVE COMPONENTS - ROMEO ENGINE (4.6L) .
  3. Remove the bolts and the oil pump.
