Oil Level Indicator and Tube: Installation

    All Vehicles 

    NOTE: Install a new O-ring seal.
  1. Lubricate the new O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
    2. NOTE: 5.4L shown; 4.6L similar.

  2. Insert the oil level indicator tube and install the bolt.

    3. Vehicles with 4.6L engine. 

  3. Install the retaining nut and insert the oil level indicator.

    4. Vehicles with 5.4L engine 

  4. Install the retaining nut and insert the oil level indicator.

    5. All Vehicles 

  5. Install the LH exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD - LH .
  6. Install the ACL outlet pipe and the ACL. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
