In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Installation

    Romeo engine (4.6L) 

  1. Position the flexplate. Loosely install the bolts, then tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in Fig 1.

    2. Windsor engine (5.4L) 

  2. Position the flexplate. Loosely install the bolts, then tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in Fig 2.
