Drive Pinion Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the pinion flange. For additional information, refer to DRIVE PINION FLANGE .
  2. Using a screwdriver, force the metal flange of the rear axle drive pinion seal up and strike it with a hammer.

  3. Install gripping pliers and remove the seal.

  4. Discard the seal.
