Shift Cable: Cougar

NOTE:
The gearshift lever has its own detent mechanism. There is no need to hold it after engaging a gear.
- Move the gearshift lever to Drive position. Raise and support the vehicle. Adjust the selector cable, by lining up marks (1) in Drive position. See Fig 1 . Lock the selector cable adjusting cap (2). Lower the vehicle.
