Vehicle Preparation

- Perform ALL safety steps required to start and run vehicle tests. Apply the parking brake, place the selector lever firmly into PARK position (automatic transmission) or NEUTRAL position (manual transmission) and block the drive wheels.
- Turn off ALL electrical loads: radios, lamps, A/C, blower and fans.
- Start the engine and bring up to normal operating temperature before running Diagnostic Quick Test.
It may be necessary to bring the vehicle to operating temperature in gasoline mode before switching to or restarting in ALT fuel mode. REFER to BI-FUEL SWITCH-OVER PRESSURES .
