GR _ CM Mode (Drive Mode)

GR _ CM mode is used to test transmission shift operation. In this mode, transmission can be commanded into any forward gear. With gearshift lever in "D" position, vehicle speed must be more than 2 MPH. TCC solenoid must be off.
- Select OSC mode.
- Select Trans-Drive Mode.
- Select PIDs to be monitored.
- Monitor all selected PIDs during test.
- Select Parameters (GR _ CM).
- Select a value 1-4, and then press SEND. Values are as follows:
- Value 1
tells PCM to select 1st gear. - Value 2
tells PCM to select 2nd gear. - Value 3
tells PCM to select 3rd gear. - Value 4
tells PCM to select 4th gear.
- Value 1
- Select XXX, and then SEND at any time to cancel any command sent.
