EPC Solenoid (Bench Mode)

However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
EPC solenoid pressure may be set from 0-90 psi in increments of 15 psi. With gearshift lever in "P" position, install pressure gauge in EPC pressure port. See HYDRAULIC PRESSURE TESTS under PERFORMANCE TESTS. Start engine and hold engine speed to at least 1500 RPM.
- Select OSC mode.
- Select Trans-Bench Mode.
- Select PIDs to be monitored.
- Monitor all selected PIDs during test.
- Select Parameter (EPC).
- Select value 00-90, and then press SEND. Values are as follows:
- Value 00
sets EPC pressure to 0 psi (0 kPa). - Value 15
sets EPC pressure to 15 psi (103 kPa). - Value 30
sets EPC pressure to 30 psi (206 kPa). - Value 45
sets EPC pressure to 45 psi (310 kPa). - Value 60
sets EPC pressure to 60 psi (411 kPa). - Value 75
sets EPC pressure to 75 psi (517 kPa). - Value 90
sets EPC pressure to 90 psi (620 kPa).
- Value 00
- Select XXX, and then SEND at any time to cancel any command sent.
