Forward Hub & Ring Gear: Assembly

  1. Follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
    • Lightly lubricate the thrust washer with petroleum jelly to hold it in place during assembly.
    • When installed, make sure the retaining ring is fully seated in the forward ring gear ring groove. The tips must face down against the hub.
