P0102, P0103, P1100, P1101  MAF Sensor MAF concerns  MAF system inoperative may cause a transmission concern. High/low line pressure, incorrect shift schedule, incorrect TCC, engagement scheduling. Symptoms similar to TP failure. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P0112  IAT Sensor IAT indicates 125°C (254°F)  Voltage drops across IAT exceeds scale set for temperature 125°C (254°F). High/low line pressure resulting in harsh or soft shifts. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P0113  IAT Sensor IAT indicates - 40°C (-40°F)  Voltage drop across IAT exceeds scale set for temperature - 40°C (-40°F) High/low line pressure, resulting in harsh or soft shifts. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P0114  IAT Sensor IAT out of on-board diagnostic range  IAT temperature higher or lower than expected during KOEO and KOER. Rerun on-board diagnostic at normal operating temperature. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P0116  ECT Sensor ECT out of on-board diagnostic range  ECT temperature higher of lower than expected during KOEO and KOER. Rerun on-board diagnostic at normal operating temperature. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article.
P0117  ECT Sensor ECT indicates 125°C (254°F)  Voltage drop across ECT exceeds scale set for temperature 125°C (254°F). TCC will always be off, resulting in reduced fuel economy. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article.
P0118  ECT Sensor ECT indicates - 40°C (-40°F)  Voltage drop across ECT exceeds scale set for temperature - 40°C (-40°F) TCC will always be off, resulting in reduced fuel economy. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article.
P0121, P0122, P0123, P1120, P1121, P1124, P1125  TP Sensor TP concern  PCM has detected an error. This error may cause a transmission concern. Harsh engagements, firm shift feel, abnormal shift schedule, TCC does not engage, TCC cycling. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P0300, P0308, P0320, P0340, P1351-1364  EI System EI concerns  EI system is inoperative, which may cause a transmission concern. Harsh engagements, and shifts, late WOT shifts, no TCC engagement. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P0500  ABS Insufficient VSS input from ABS through SCP link.  PCM detected a loss of VSS signal through SCP link from ABS. No transmission symptom, instrument panel, speedometer may be affected. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P0503  ABS Interment VSS input from ABS through SCP link.  PCM detected an intermittent loss of VSS signal through SCP link from ABS. No transmission symptom, instrument panel, speedometer may be affected. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article(1).
P0706  TR Position Sensor TR position sensor frequency fault detected.  TR position sensor signal frequency is out of normal range. Increase in control pressure (harsh shifts and engagements). No engine cranking. Go To PINPOINT TEST C: TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) POSITION SENSOR .
P0707  TR Position Sensor TR position sensor circuit duty cycle low input.  TR position sensor signal duty cycle is below threshold, sensor/circuit electrical malfunction. Increase in control pressure (harsh shifts and engagements). No engine cranking. Go To PINPOINT TEST C: TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) POSITION SENSOR .
P0708  TR Position Sensor TR position sensor circuit duty cycle high input.  TR position sensor signal duty cycle is above threshold, sensor/circuit electrical malfunction. Increase in control pressure (harsh shifts and engagements.) No engine cranking. Go To PINPOINT TEST C: TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) POSITION SENSOR .
P1702  TR Position Sensor TR position sensor error.  TR position sensor error detected Only REVERSE, NEUTRAL and fifth gear detected Go To PINPOINT TEST C: TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) POSITION SENSOR .
P1705  TR Position Sensor TR position sensor not in P or N positions during KOEO or KOER. KOEO or KOER not run in P or N positions, or TR position sensor circuit failure.  DTC is set. RERUN KOEO and KOER in P or N position. Go To PINPOINT TEST C: TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) POSITION SENSOR .
P0710  TFT Sensor 157°C (315°F) indicated, TFT sensor circuit grounded. 
OR
-40 °C (-40 °F) indicated, TFT sensor circuit grounded. 
Voltage drop across TFT sensor exceeds scale set for temperature of 157°C (315°F).
OR
Voltage drop across TFT sensor exceeds scale set for temperature of - 40°C (-40°F).
No fifth or sixth gears. Go To PINPOINT TEST B: TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR .
P0711  TFT Sensor No change in TFT during operation.  PCM has detected no TFT change during operation. TFT value stuck at some normal reading. No fifth or sixth gears. Go To PINPOINT TEST B: TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR .
P0712  TFT Sensor 157°C (315°F) indicated, TFT sensor circuit grounded.  Voltage drop across TFT sensor exceeds scale set for temperature of 157°C (315°F). No fifth or sixth gears. Go To PINPOINT TEST B: TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR .
P0713  TFT Sensor -40 °C (-40 °F) indicated, TFT sensor circuit grounded.  Voltage drop across TFT sensor exceeds scale set for temperature of - 40°C (-40°F). No fifth or sixth gears. Go To PINPOINT TEST B: TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR .
P1711  TFT Sensor TFT out of range during on-board diagnostics.  Transmission not operating at temperature during on-board diagnostics. DTC set: engine cold or overheated. Warm or cool engine to normal operating temperature. Go To PINPOINT TEST B: TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR .
P1783  TFT Sensor Transmission over temp condition indicated.  Transmission fluid temperature exceeded 127°C (270°F). Torque converter engages earlier than expected Go To PINPOINT TEST B: TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR .
P0715  TSS Sensor Insufficient input from TSS.  PCM detected a loss of TSS signal during operation. Harsh shifts and engagements, engine rpm higher or lower than expected. No first, third or fifth gear. Go To PINPOINT TEST D: TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS), INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED, AND OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORS .
P0717  TSS Sensor No TSS signal.  PCM has not detected a TSS signal. Harsh shifts and engagements, engine rpm higher or lower than expected. No first, third or fifth gear. Go To PINPOINT TEST D: TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS), INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED, AND OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORS .
P0718  TSS Sensor TSS signal noisy.  PCM has detected a noisy TSS signal. - Go To PINPOINT TEST D: TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS), INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED, AND OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORS .
P0720  OSS Sensor Insufficient input from OSS.  PCM detected a loss of OSS signal during operation. No first, second, third, fourth or sixth gear. Go To PINPOINT TEST D: TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS), INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED, AND OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORS .
P0721  OSS Sensor OSS signal noisy.  PCM has detected a noisy OSS signal. - Go To PINPOINT TEST D: TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS), INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED, AND OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORS .
P0722  OSS Sensor No OSS signal.  PCM has detected no OSS signal. No first, second, third, fourth or sixth gear. Go To PINPOINT TEST D: TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS), INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED, AND OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORS .
P0730  Clutch Control Solenoid or Internal Parts Gear ratio error.  PCM has detected a gear ratio error. OWC clutch or clutches may have failed. Incorrect gear selection depending on failure or mode and manual lever position. Shift errors may also be due to other internal transmission concerns (stuck valves, damaged friction material). Engine rpm could be higher or lower than expected. May flash TCIL. REFER to P0730_Status  for a specific failure. REFER to the Solenoid Application Charts  located at the beginning of PINPOINT TESTS - OSC Equipped Vehicles . If other solenoids DTCs are present Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS . If only P0730 and/or 2700 series DTCs are present, INSTALL the appropriate clutch solenoid. CLEAR DTCs, road test. If the concern is still present, REPAIR/INSTALL new internal transmission components.
P0740 (1) TCC Solenoid TCC solenoid open circuit failure.  TCC solenoid circuit fails to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit open. Open circuit: TCC never engages. Engine speed may be higher or lower than expected. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0741  TCC Solenoid TCC solenoid circuit performance error.  Torque converter slippage detected during engagement command indicating a concern with mechanical or hydraulic operation of the converter clutch. TCC slippage when commanded on indicating a concern with the mechanical or hydraulic TCC operation. No TCC engagements. REFER to DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM .
P0742  TCC Solenoid TCC solenoid circuit shorted to ground.  TCC solenoid circuit fails to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Shorted to ground. Short circuit: Only fifth gear at low vehicle speeds. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0743  TCC Solenoid TCC solenoid circuit failure  TCC solenoid circuit fails to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit open, shorted or PCM driver failure during on-board diagnostics. Open circuit: TCC never engages. Engine speed may be higher or lower than expected. Maximum PC-A pressure, harsh engagement and shifts. Short circuit: Only fifth gear. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0744  TCC Solenoid TCC solenoid circuit shorted to power.  TCC solenoid circuit fails to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit shorted to power. No torque converter engagements. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P1744  TCC Solenoid TCC solenoid circuit performance error.  Torque converter slippage detected during engagement command indicating a concern with mechanical or hydraulic operation of the converter clutch. TCC slippage when commanded on indicating a concern with the mechanical or hydraulic TCC operation. No TCC engagements. REFER to DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM .
P0748 (2) PC-A Line Pressure Control Solenoid PC-A solenoid circuit failure.  Voltage through PC-A solenoid is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Open circuit: maximum PC-A pressure, harsh engagements and shifts. Engine rpm higher than expected. Short circuit: Only fifth gear present. Maximum PC-A pressure, harsh engagements and shifts. Engine rpm higher than expected. Go To PINPOINT TEST E: PC-A (LINE PRESSURE) SOLENOID .
P0960 (2) PC-A Line Pressure Control Solenoid PC-A solenoid circuit open failure.  Voltage through PC-A solenoid is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Open circuit: maximum PC-A pressure, harsh engagements and shifts. Engine rpm higher than expected. Go To PINPOINT TEST E: PC-A (LINE PRESSURE) SOLENOID .
P0962 (2) PC-A Line Pressure Control Solenoid PC-A solenoid short to ground circuit failure.  Voltage through PC-A solenoid is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short circuit: Only fifth gear present. Go To PINPOINT TEST E: PC-A (LINE PRESSURE) SOLENOID .
P0963  PC-A Line Pressure Control Solenoid PC-A solenoid short to power circuit failure.  Voltage through PC-A solenoid is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Maximum PC-A pressure, harsh engagements and shifts. Engine rpm higher than expected. Go To PINPOINT TEST E: PC-A (LINE PRESSURE) SOLENOID .
P0750 (1) SSPC-A Coast Clutch SSPC-A solenoid circuit open.  SSPC-A circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit open or PCM driver failure during on-board diagnostics. No second, fourth, or sixth gear. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0751  SSPC-A Coast Clutch SSPC-A circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - OFF.  SSPC-A circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the OFF position during operation resulting in HIGH pressure in the hydraulic circuit. Overdrive Mode:
  • No first, third or fifth gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • No second, fourth or sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0752  SSPC-A Coast Clutch SSPC-A circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - ON.  SSPC-A circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the ON position during operation resulting in LOW pressure in the hydraulic circuit. Overdrive Mode:
  • No first or third gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • No second, fourth or sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0753 (1) SSPC-A Coast Clutch SSPC-A solenoid circuit failure.  SSPC-A circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit failure or PCM driver failure. Overdrive Mode:
  • No second, fourth, fifth or sixth gears available.
  • No gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled
  • No first, second, third, fourth or sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0973  SSPC-A Coast Circuit SSPC-A solenoid or circuit shorted to ground.  Voltage through SSPC-A solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to ground failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • No second, forth, fifth or sixth gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled
  • No first, second, third, fourth or sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0974  SSPC-A Coast Clutch SSPC-A solenoid or circuit shorted to power.  Voltage through SSPC-A solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to power failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • No gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • No second, fourth or sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0755 (1) SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch SSPC-B solenoid circuit open.  SSPC-B circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit open or PCM driver failure during on-board diagnostics. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first or third gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0756  SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch SSPC-B circuit, clutch or solenoid - OFF.  SSPC-B circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the OFF position during operation resulting in LOW pressure in the hydraulic circuit. Overdrive Mode:
  • No second gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • No second, fourth or sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0757  SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch SSPC-B circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - ON.  SSPC-B circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the ON position during operation resulting in LOW pressure in the hydraulic circuit. No first, third or fifth gears available. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0758 (1) SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch SSPC-B solenoid circuit failure.  SSPC-B circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit failure or PCM driver failure. Overdrive Mode:
  • No first, second or third gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fourth, fifth and sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0976  SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch SSPC-B solenoid or circuit shorted to ground.  Voltage through SSPC-B solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to ground failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • No second gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fourth and sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0977 (2) SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch SSPC-B solenoid or circuit shorted to power.  Voltage through SSPC-B solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to power failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first and third gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0760 (1) SSPC-C Intermediate Clutch SSPC-C solenoid circuit open.  SSPC-C circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit open or PCM drive failure during on-board diagnostics. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first and second gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0761  SSPC-C Intermediate Clutch SSPC-C circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - OFF.  SSPC-C circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the OFF position during operation resulting in LOW pressure in the hydraulic circuit. No third and fourth gear available. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0762  SSPC-C Intermediate Clutch SSPC-C circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - ON.  SSPC-C circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the ON position during operation resulting in HIGH pressure in the hydraulic circuit. Only third and fourth gears available. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0763 (1) SSPC-C Intermediate Clutch SSPC-C solenoid circuit failure.  SSPC-C circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit failure or PCM driver failure. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first, second and third gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fourth and fifth gears available.
May have additional fault codes. Possible codes P0760, P0979 or P0980. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0979  SSPC-C Intermediate Clutch SSPC-C solenoid or circuit shorted to ground.  Voltage through SSPC-C solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to ground failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only third gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fourth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0980 (2) SSPC-C Intermediate Clutch SSPC-C solenoid or circuit shorted to power.  Voltage through SSPC-C solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to power failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first and second gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0765  SSPC-D Direct Clutch SSPC-D solenoid circuit open.  SSPC-D circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit open or PCM driver failure during on-board diagnostics. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only fifth gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0766  SSPC-D Direct Clutch SSPC-D circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - OFF.  SSPC-D circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the OFF position during operation resulting in HIGH pressure in the hydraulic circuit. Overdrive Mode:
  • No fifth gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • No fifth or sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0767  SSPC-D Direct Clutch SSPC-D circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - ON.  SSPC-D circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the ON position during operation resulting in LOW pressure in the hydraulic circuit. No first, second, third or fourth gears available. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0768  SSPC-D Direct Clutch SSPC-D solenoid circuit failure.  SSPC-D circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit failure or PCM driver failure. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first, second and fifth gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth and sixth gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0982 (2) SSPC-D Direct Clutch SSPC-D solenoid or circuit shorted to ground.  Voltage through SSPC-D solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to ground failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first and second gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0983 (2) SSPC-D Direct Clutch SSPC-D solenoid or circuit shorted to power.  Voltage through SSPC-D solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to power failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only fifth gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only sixth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0770  SSPC-E Low/Reverse Clutch SSPC-E solenoid circuit open.  SSPC-E circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit open or PCM drive failure during on-board diagnostics. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first and second gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0771  SSPC-E Low/Reverse Clutch SSPC-E circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - OFF.  SSPC-E circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the OFF position during operation resulting in HIGH pressure in the hydraulic circuit. Overdrive Mode:
  • No first gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • No first or second gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0772  SSPC-E Low/Reverse Clutch SSPC-E circuit, clutch or solenoid failure - ON.  SSPC-E circuit, clutch or solenoid failed in the ON position during operation resulting in LOW pressure in the hydraulic circuit. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first gear available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only first or second gears available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0773  SSPC-E Low/Reverse Clutch SSPC-E solenoid circuit failure.  SSPC-E circuit failed to provide voltage drop across solenoid. Circuit failure or PCM driver failure. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first, second and fifth gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled:
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0985 (2) SSPC-E Low/Reverse Clutch SSPC-E solenoid or circuit shorted to ground.  Voltage through SSPC-E solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to ground failure detected. Overdrive Mode: only fifth gear available. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0986 (2) SSPC-E Low/Reverse Clutch SSPC-E solenoid or circuit shorted to power.  Voltage through SSPC-E solenoid circuit is checked. An error will be noted if tolerance is exceeded. Short to power failure detected. Overdrive Mode:
  • Only first and second gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled
  • Only fifth gear available.
Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS .
P0791  Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor Insufficient input from intermediate shaft speed sensor.  PCM detected an insufficient signal from the intermediate shaft speed sensor during operation. P0793  Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor No input from intermediate shaft speed sensor.  PCM detected a loss of intermediate shaft speed sensor signal during operation. P0794  Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor Intermediate shaft speed sensor signal intermittent  PCM has detected an intermittent intermediate shaft speed sensor signal. - Go To PINPOINT TEST D: TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS), INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SPEED, AND OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED (OSS) SENSORS .
P0657  TSPC TSPC high side power supply circuit failed.  TSPC high side power supply circuit failed open or shorted to ground. Only reverse, neutral and fifth gears available. Engine rpm at idle is about 1,000 rpm when TSPC is off as a FMEM action. Power to all solenoids has been interrupted. Monitor PID tspc_flg. If tspc_flg = 1, then TSPC is on. If tspc_flg = 0, then TSPC is off. Check for opens, shorts to ground or disconnected harness. Repair as required. When TSPC is commanded OFF as a FMEM action, check all solenoids for correct function as listed in the Band, Clutch, Solenoid, Switch Application Charts . For additional information on diagnosing PCM concerns, refer to the appropriate Introduction Article.
P1910  Backup lamp driver circuit Backup lamp driver control circuit failed.  Backup lamp driver control circuit failed. No backup lamps in reverse. TR position sensor is OK. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article.
P1124  TP Sensor TP voltage high/low for on-board diagnostics.  TP was not in the correct position for on-board diagnostics. Rerun at appropriate throttle position per application. REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P1460  A/C Switch A/C pressure cycling switch error.  A/C or defrost ON condition may result from A/C clutch being ON during on-board diagnostics. DTC set during on-board diagnostics: rerun with A/C off.
Failed ON: line pressure slightly low with A/C off.
REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P1572  BPP Switch BPP switch circuit failed.  Brake ON circuit failure during normal operation. Failed ON or not connected:
  • TCC will not engage at less than 1/3 throttle.

Failed OFF or not connected:
  • TCC will not disengage when the brake is applied.
REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P1636  SSx SSx ISIG communication error.  PCM has detected an error with the ISIG chip. None. INSTALL a new PCM.
P1703  BPP Switch Brake not actuated during onboard diagnostics KOER or BPP switch circuit failed.  Brake not cycling during KOER or brake ON circuit failure during KOEO. Failed ON or not connected:
  • TCC will not engage at less then 1/3 throttle.

Failed OFF or none connected:
  • TCC will not disengage when the brake is applied.
REFER to the appropriate Introduction Article (1).
P1780  TCS Switch TCS switch input incorrect per selected position.  TCS switch voltage incorrect. No tow/haul feature when TCS switch is pressed during self-test. RERUN on-board diagnostics and cycle switch. If concern is still present, REFER to Transaxle/Transmission External Controls .
P2700  Coast Clutch Coast Clutch failed ON or OFF.  The PCM has detected a failure within the coast clutch system. Not all gears available.
Overdrive Mode:
  • No first, second, third or fifth gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled
  • No first, second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth gears available.
Coast Clutch failed on or off. REFER to P0730_Status  for a specific failure. REFER to the Solenoid Application Charts  located at the beginning of PINPOINT TESTS - OSC Equipped Vehicles . If other solenoid DTCs are present Go To PINPOINT TEST A: CONTROL SOLENOIDS . If only P0730 and/or 2700 series DTCs are present, INSTALL the appropriate clutch solenoid. CLEAR DTCs, road test. If the concern is still present, REPAIR/INSTALL new internal transmission components.
P2701  Overdrive Clutch Overdrive Clutch failed ON or OFF.  The PCM has detected a failure within the overdrive clutch system. Not all gears available.
Overdrive Mode:
  • No first, second, third, or fifth gears available.

Overdrive Cancelled
  • No second, fourth or sixth gears available.
