Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Remove the rear door interior release handle. Refer to INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE - CREW CAB, EXCURSION .
  3. Remove the clip.

  4. Remove the rear door latch remote control.
    1. Disconnect the cable conduit.
    2. Remove the cable.
    3. Remove the rear door latch remote control.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
