Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the door latch. Refer to FRONT DOOR LATCH , or REAR DOOR LATCH - CREW CAB, EXCURSION , or LIFTGATE LATCH .
    2. NOTE: The front door latch shown, rear door latch and liftgate latch are similar.
  2. Remove the door ajar switch.
    1. Lift up on the locking tab.
    2. Rotate and remove the door ajar switch.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
