Removal and Installation

  1. From the bottom of the seat backrest, push the seat backrest upward, then pull the bottom outward and remove from vehicle.

  2. Position the seat cushions back, then remove the bolts.

  3. Remove the bolt.

  4. Remove the nut and bolt.

  5. Remove the nut.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  7. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
    • Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
