Rear Seat - Excursion, Second Row: Installation

  1. On the 40 percent seat, install the left and right front bolts, then position the seat forward and install the rear bolts.
    2. NOTE: When installing the 60 percent seat, be sure to position the safety belt and buckle through the cavity in the seat cushion before tightening the bolts.
    • Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
  2. On the 60 percent seat, install the right front bolt, then the left front bolt.
  3. Install trim covers and pin-type retainers.
  4. Position the seat forward and install the rear bolts.
    • Adjust the seat to the full forward and rearward positions a few times to assure safety belt and buckle accessibility.
  5. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
