Front Seat Cushion - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Installation

All seats 

NOTE: Make sure loose square reinforcement stampings are inserted between cushion pan front attachments and support brackets.

1. Position the seat cushion. Install the four seat cushion bolts.

   Power seats 

2. Connect power seat switch electrical connector and the seat actuator motors electrical connector. Attach the connectors to the cushion pan.

3. Attach the three trim support wire screws that secure the trim cover side face to the seat track riser.

4. Position the seat control switch on the side trim panel. Install the two screws.

   Heated seats 

5. Attach the components to the seat cushion pan. Connect the heated seat element electrical connectors.
6. Connect the heated seat switch electrical connector.

   All seats 

7. Position the side trim cover. Install the three trim cover screws.
   • The seat backrest pivot bolt shaft must be inserted into the cover standoff.

8. Push the rearward lower corner of the side shield to engage the metal retaining clip.
9. Position the lumbar adjuster control and install the two mounting screws. Install the adjuster knob.

10. Position the seat back recliner lever cover and install the screw.

11. Install the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT - WITH SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR) .
12. Repower the SRS. Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
