Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the front bench seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT - BENCH .
  2. Release the RH hook and loop strip on the cushion flap.

  3. Release the RH J-clip.

  4. Release the RH recliner cable.
    1. Release the cable anchor from the latch retainer.
    2. Swivel the cable end and remove.

  5. Remove the RH cushion latch recliner bolts.

  6. Release the LH hook and loop strip on the cushion flap.

  7. Release the LH J-clip.

  8. Release the LH recliner cable.
    1. Release the cable anchor from the latch retainer.
    2. Swivel the cable end and remove.

  9. Remove the backrest assembly.
    1. Remove the recliner handle screw.
    2. Remove the recliner handle.
    3. Remove the LH cushion latch recliner bolts.
    4. Slide the backrest assembly rearward and remove the backrest assembly.

  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
