Front Seat - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Installation

- Position the seat in the vehicle. Install the four bolts and the fifth foot bolt. Do not tighten at this time.
- Tighten the four bolts and fifth foot bolt in the following sequence:
- Tighten the two front bolts to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Tighten the two rear bolts to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Tighten the fifth foot bolt to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Install the fifth foot trim cover.
- Connect the safety belt buckle pretensioner.
- Connect the usage detection switch and power seat electrical connectors located under the seat.
- Repower the SRS. Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
- Check the active restraints for correct operation. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
WARNING:
The seat anchor bolts must be tightened in the specified order.
NOTE:
Make sure the bushing is press fit onto the fifth foot mounting hole.
