Disassembly and Assembly

NOTE: The 60 percent seat is shown, 40 percent seat similar.
  1. Remove the 60 percent or 40 percent cushion. Refer to REAR SEAT CUSHION - 60/40, CREW CAB .
  2. Using a suitable tool, remove the grocery bag hooks (if equipped).

  3. Release the J-clip.

  4. Release the two side hook-and-loop strips (one shown).

  5. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the seat cushion foam.

  6. Invert the seat cushion trim cover and release the hook-and-loop strips.
  7. Remove the hog rings.

  8. Remove the cushion trim cover from the foam pad.
  9. Remove the foam pad from the seat cushion frame.

  10. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
