Removal and Installation

All vehicles 

1. If equipped, remove the overhead console.
   • Release the locking tabs while pulling down.
2. Remove the left and right screws and visors.
   • If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector.

3. Position the left and right front door opening weatherstrips down from the headliner.

4. Remove the left and right windshield side garnish moulding. Refer to MOULDING - WINDSHIELD SIDE GARNISH .
NOTE: SuperCab shown, regular cab similar.

5. Remove the courtesy lamp lens, then remove the screws.

   SuperCab vehicles 

6. Remove the left and right rear door striker covers at the roof trim panel.

7. If equipped, remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster cover pin-type retainers.

8. If equipped, remove the safety belt shoulder height adjusters.
   1. Position the safety belt shoulder height adjuster cover down.
   2. Remove the bolt.
   3. Remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster.

9. Remove the two headliner rear pin-type retainers.

   All vehicles 

10. Remove both of the left and right safety belt guides.
    1. Position the shoulder safety belt guide cover up.
    2. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide nut.
    3. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

11. Remove the left and right coat hooks.

12. Remove the assist handle.
    1. Remove the covers and bolts.
    2. Remove the assist handle.

13. Position aside the rear corner trim panels.

14. Remove the two headliner front pin-type retainers.

15. Remove the headliner.
16. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
