Strut Assembly: Installation

- Compress spring using spring compressor. Position strut assembly in tower. Install bolts in top mounting bracket and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Place strut assembly in spindle pinch joint. Install pinch bolt and tighten to specification. Remove spring compressor. Install tie rod, and remove jackstands. Attach brake hose to strut.
- Install anti-lock brake sensor and tighten bolt to specification. Attach anti-lock brake sensor wiring to strut. Secure parking brake cable to tie rod with strap. Connect brake hose to brakeline and tighten nut securely. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Bleed brakes. Install wheel, and lower vehicle.
